The best gift

Supposed to meet Catherine today. But she cancelled la. Went for my pedicure, bought 3 new movies. 王爷 called, asked me out for some KTV. Finally saw him, still looking good eh! But 王爷 can u pls go find a 王妃? =p In the middle of singing, mummy called and said she misses me. I'm so happy can? I miss you too mum, although I see u everyday at home. But I miss having dinner with you, going shopping with you, exercising with you, or even juz talking to you. With the constant clashing of our schedules, we don't seem to be able to tt so often like before. What wouldn't I give for one whole day with mum. What can I say? I'm a mummy's girl. Okay, this is the 2nd happy thing she told me "you've got a package frm Australia, did u order something frm Ebay again?" I was like.. "Erm.. no. Oh! It must be Jaime!" It made me wanna rush home more. First, I can talk to mum before she goes to sleep. Second, open the package frm Jaime.

I reached home, talked to mum, washed my face, showered. Quickly ran to my room, saw the package lying on my bed. It was all smiles for me! Funny thing was, Jaime & I both bought something for each other at the same time. Without telling each other. What a coincidence! Darling, you touched my heart. Although we haven't seen each other for something like 8 years, you've been such a great friend! Yes, you did not make it to the reunion coz of your studies. And although we're few thousand miles apart, it feels like you're so close to me. You didn't fail to remember me and even took the trouble to buy me something and send it over. I've met up with so many of our primary school mates at the reunion. And all of us who made it are all in Singapore. Which made meeting up to catch up so easy. Somehow, I felt like we went seperate ways once again, after the curtains were drawn at the reunion. Only a number of us managed to keep close to each other. But you Jaime, you're in freakin Australia! I don't know how to describe the way I'm feeling now. You made me so happy la! *Hugs, squishes, squeezes, kisses*

It's not the content of the gift tt matters. It's the thought, effort, time and sincerity put in it. Even if it's juz a card, I would be juz as happy! Words juz can't express how I feel now!
